Hey I'm going to install a carputer within the near future and was wanting to know what options I have for putting a LCD screen in the middle of the dash.

I know this much so far, not sure on the prices

OEM NAV Piece - can you buy just the plastic dash piece that the lcd screen sits in?
Mazda parts piece - $350
1 din piece - $150

I like the clean look so the 1 din thing is out of the question but anyone know if I can find the dash piece cheaper than $350? or if I have any other options?

If you can find someone who does fiberglass.. you can have someone make you something.. that's what I'll be doing, but I'll be doing it myself. Shouldn't cost you that much.
