View Full Version : Ten Worst Automobiles for 2007
No More Oldsmobiles 11-28-2007, 07:47 PM This website (http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/reviews/the-truth-about-cars-ten-worst-automobiles-2007/) has a poll for the ten worst vehicles. (No Mazdas on the list.)
Number One is the Jeep Compass. But I love their take on the Hummer H3
The H3 is a 4700lbs. truck with a 220 horsepower five-cylinder engine. For those of you who don’t count rivets for fun, the H2’s baby brother is thirstier than Lindsay Lohan fresh out of rehab, slower than continental drift and rougher than Class VI rapids.
Jethro Tull 11-28-2007, 09:35 PM Looks like GM and Chrysler pretty much have all the nominations sewn-up.

wtf, was that a direct head on collision????
OT, where does everyone get those lil cartoon RX-8's that are in your sig and alot of others sigs, they each seem to be cutomized...i want one too:)
edit:
i jus read on the sebring "natural born rental car" that is 110% true, my mom's rental was a sebring and that car just screams fleet vehicle. the only way id drive one is if it ws the top of the line v6 with leather, and im sure by the time you equip it you can end up with a much better altima, or accord, or camry.:Eyecrazy:
Spinning Sushi 11-28-2007, 09:45 PM Just steal them from someone on the forum. :)
briann 11-28-2007, 09:51 PM The thread title scared me.

awwww maaaaaaan, but i wanted it "costumeized":banghead:
yale02 11-28-2007, 10:15 PM Nice find, well done! I really laughed at this one. I especially enjoyed Dodge Nitro.
tajabaho1 11-28-2007, 10:32 PM ^ it is better than most of the cars on there
sebring is bad? calling toothfairy to the thread :)
Chris_Bangle 11-28-2007, 10:51 PM how do you choose? there are so many awful cars on the list, it is really unfair to the other 9 candidates, they should all have top spot

Yep. But at least they are ditching the losers. It's the last year for the Saturn Ion, the Uplander, maybe the Sebring, and all the rest except the Hummers seem iffy.
magikone69 11-29-2007, 04:20 PM sebring is only in its 1st or 2nd year, is it really up on the chopping block so soon????
and wtf is an uplander, sucks when one of the 10 worse cars isnt even heard of? for some reason toyota came to mind

I'm just going by what the article said: "The fact that Chrysler is contemplating killing the Sebring less than a year after its launch confirms it: this is an automobile even its mother can’t love."
77mjd 12-01-2007, 11:10 PM all american cars...there's a shocker.
Gauge 12-01-2007, 11:18 PM hmm I actually like the H3, my sister has one, rides pretty good, although it sits on 24's.
SlayerRX8 12-01-2007, 11:43 PM Honestly, I don't trust the opinion of anyone who can't edit an article.
Not to say I like any of these cars, but still. Where's Kia? Where's Hundai?
chickenwafer 12-02-2007, 12:11 AM I disagree with the Saturn ION on the list. My girlfriend drives one and it's actually pretty nice. We've had zero problems with it, I've done plenty clutch drops and it's held up, and it chirps tire pretty nice on the 1-2 shift, and gets over 36 MPG.
It isn't a performance car by any means, but I think it serves it's purpose very well (i.e. reliable grocery getter with excellent fuel mileage), plus it has a 10 year warranty
ToothFairy 12-02-2007, 05:59 PM sebring is only in its 1st or 2nd year, is it really up on the chopping block so soon????
Which Sebring are we talking about? The convertible has been around for almost 12 years, but the sedan came out in 2000 I think.

They must mean the sedan. The article links to a pic of a sedan. I agree they could have been clearer whether they meant just the sedan or both.

and don't forget the Sebring coupe, which they stopped manufacturing a few years ago. It came out around the same time as the Sebring convertible.
three cars under the same "Sebring" name...
dmc27 12-04-2007, 05:22 PM Nice list of American crap.
Sebring has been around for a long time, but I think they eliminated it for a while and just brought it back recently as a 4 coupe. It was the 'competitor' of the Dodge Avenger back in the ?? late 80- early 90s ??
And in case someone was wondering - it was a POS then, as well. Not sure about the current one, but the old 2 door 'sports car' version was built from a *gasp* Mitsubishi drivetrain. :puke:

oh i assumed that the new generation (2007 style) sebring was mentioned:spank:
BlackRX82006 12-04-2007, 09:41 PM Oh Jesus I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Oh jesus I'm almost in tears. It's really sad how GM and Chrysler DOMNINATES that list. I love you for posting this one OLDSMOBILE. Your sock sky-rocketed in my book
