What is the best adhesive to use for the exterior for your car? Especially for the side strakes??:o ..i know they come with adhesive, but ...oops!!:(

I bought 3M Automotive Attachment Tape Part No. 06381. Its the exact tape they use on the aluminum door sills. Specifically made for body side bolding, cladding, rocker panel trim and exterior trim parts.

it was like $32 for 20 yards of 7/8 in x 0.45 in ... a bit steep.

20 yards is way too much.. if you lived closer to DC I'd tell you to come by and I'd tear you off a piece :-/
