Would be nice if we could store Hydrogen in microscopic particles of Magnesium.
Only one "small" problem: I think an Aluminum engine would not be the place to burn Magnesium....

aww crap, this is gonna be another debate. wheres RG?
Hydrogen is a crap resource... Although I am happiest to see the rotary engine at use...
But mad that we can no longer use the long ancient dead souls of thousands of living creatures to fuel my addiction to speed... Seems to be a "story for the grand children" at my age...

At least if you go electric, there's no reason to give up speed:

The largest windturbine produces 6000 kW (Enercon E-126). And on average operates roughly 5 hours a day.
How many cars can one operate at 1 hour a day with one windturbine, if a car requires 15 kW on average?

Answer: 2000 cars.
Of course, a windturbine makes a quiet wooshing sound.
And 2000 cars on a highway make...
How many cars can one operate on a pile of Banana peel?

I'm going to laugh when hydrogen as a potential fuel source finally goes the way of the dodo. It will happen. When and how much crap they'll try by then is the real question.

New catalyst for electricity-to-hydrogen cells should help.......

Waste of perfectly good electricity, if you ask me........

We need to create genetically engineered dinosaurs, and crush them into fresh petroleum. Give them a shower before we crush them so they burn clean. That's why I get paid the big bucks.

I'm interested to know why you feel this way.
