I've decided I'm going to bite the bullet and buy the corksport kit with a double din Eclipse unit. But looking at pictures on the corksport website, I see these 2 matte finish bezels on each side of the double din unit. Honestly, they look like crap.:squint: Anybody have any other pictures I could judge by? But mostly, does anyone have the kit with the matte finish versus the piano black? Maybe this will help blend in those 2 side bezels? The pics on the website look like "canned" "could have put any finish via photoshop" pics.

Its kind of dark but you can kinda see them on the thread I wrote write after i got it..

but honestly - yeah they are there and the kinda look strange at first but i don't even notice they are there anymore.. they kind of provide a buffer are between the HU screen and the piano black that you don't notice...

if you want the kit thats just one of the things your gonna have to just accept.

do a search for more corksport kits on here.. you can probably find a better pic than mine.. and if you can't lemme know and i'll go snap a new one for ya.

Thanks for your reply and additional pic. But what I'd really like to see is someone who has the matte finish kit. I love the piano black in the car, but everything around the stock headunit is matte black....and so are those side bezels.....so maybe everything will match pretty well...?

Everything looks grey in the pic on corksport.com, but other than that.... doesn't look too bad.... no?

I think the piano black looks a lot better.. Even with the side pieces..

My guess is their matte black finish will not match our OEM finish 100% and will standout even more than those two bezels. You're probably better off with the piano black. But I agree with you, those bezels bother me too.

Thanks for the pic, but honestly.... the black doesn't seem to match the black on the rest of the dash. Infact, the matte finish doesn't even match the matte finish of the two side bezels. lol Maybe it's just because of the Armor-all... but I think I'd rather have the piano black finish and just deal with the two side bezels....:uhh: thanks guys. Any others?
