Does this modification work on the hks racing suction intake??

hey guys, quick question for u....i recently ordered the hks racing suction intake from lazi. (being shiped atm) i was thinking that once it came in id fabricate a kind of vent that would direct cold air from the grill/front bumper in front of the radiator to the intake box.would this more or less give it a, "cold air" intake type upgrade.

the thought came to mind when i saw this DIY for cooling brake rotors with an air duct.

it would be similar to the ducts in the picture yet they would be placed within the front air dam. any idea if this type of thing would give the effect of me cutting a hole out of my bumper for air to flow, but without actually cutting the hole in my bumper?r?

pic credit to polak =)

I think ottog has the exact thing youre looking for!

PM him and im sure hell give you some details on it

you have to disconnect the VFAD and install a duct down there.

Odula and Racing Beat make something similar
