Mojo,
Very impressive. As a novice Photoshop user, I was wondering what tool(s) you use for this. I assume it's more complicated than just using the paintbucket tool. Thanks.

its called "Hue and Saturation" in Photoshop. A man's best friend!

I've used hue and saturation before - but never to darken like that; way cool.

I also have "PhotoImpact 6". The "Lasso tool is much easier to use than in Photoshop. Maybe I don't know the correct setting in Photoshop elements 2.0. In PhotoImpact, while using the lasso tool, you can click as you go. In Photoshop, you have to carefully hold down the mouse button while you trace the edge. Is there another way?

i usually select the body (minus windows) and then make a new layer via copy and then set that layer to multiply and then use hue/saturation to try and fix it up..

I havent had any lessons u just gotta play around with it... Thats how i learnt

you can use the magnetic lasso tool...it's "hidden" under the normal lasso tool, just hold down the button and the second option should be the magnetic lasso...it's kind of a cross between the lasso tool and the magic wand in that you can trace the borders of an object and dots will appear on similar colors...press the delete key to remove a dot you don't and press the left mouse button to place a dot where you do want
