I have few complaints with my '04 8 MT, which I have owned since new. About the only thing that annoys me is that the throttle on mine is very sensitive to the first 1/4 inch of travel or so. Is this normal?

In fact, the first portion of the throttle movement seems much less sensitive and it takes more travel than I would like, to get something to happen. One of the joys (?) of fly-by-wire. Otherwise we could spray some CRC 2-26 contact cleaner/lube in it. Maybe someone has some more information on what's in the black box on page 12 of the electrical section. |
