Brettus 09-15-2007, 06:00 PM nice burnouts - how do you do that . Do you use the brake at all ?
Spinning Sushi 09-15-2007, 06:03 PM I may sound stupid for saying this but.... those are some of the nicest burnouts I've ever seen. The tire marks are absolutely uniformed and perfect.
XDEEDUBBX 09-15-2007, 06:12 PM you do more than destroy your tires doing that.. Haha but burnouts are always cool
2k4_8 09-15-2007, 06:33 PM No, I just turn the wheels, kick it up a few thousand rpm's and let out the clutch...from there you can just feather it and do cookies for as long as you want to really. This was a total of about 3 cookie 'sessions' I guess you would call them. I think it's on the first video but I tried to at the very end do a brake stand and just burn out but it just wouldn't do it.
Renesis, I noticed that after I posted the pic on another forum, it is almost uniform, sorta poetic or at least artistic....but strange they ended up that close on both 'sides'.
Yes, Deedubb, I agree, but since I don't do it hardly ever....probably not a huge deal to go out and beat on it once in a while :)
For the record, I am gonna post this on youtube because I am sic of seeing all the sissy donuts on there and now I had an excuse to do cookies : P
ac3mastuh 09-17-2007, 08:49 PM lol, at first i thought you did that to new tires, and i was gonna say "what an idiot" but now it makes sense
SayNoToPistons 09-17-2007, 09:05 PM Props for beating on a rx8!!! Someone is going to be pissed when they find out what happened to their parking lot.
BigRed 09-17-2007, 09:20 PM hahah woohoo!
architect 09-18-2007, 01:01 PM douche
2k4_8 09-19-2007, 01:28 AM douche
You're an uptight moron.
To everyone else, I have done this in the car once since I bought it and only bc I was getting new tires, so it's not like I mistreat my 8, gtfo it.
RXei8ht 09-19-2007, 02:54 AM Sweet. Looks fun.
L8APEX 09-19-2007, 05:55 AM looks like you had fun toasting your tires. it is always fun to shred tires when you know new ones are on the way.
douche
I wish you would change your screen name, giving the profession a bad name...or at least a bad image.
TRAVASS 09-19-2007, 07:09 AM nice. ive seen cookie marks on the tops of bridges before!
ivory8 09-19-2007, 05:40 PM gonna have to scrape alot of excess rubber off the wheel wells after that 1!! hehe looks like a good time
A.Mair 09-19-2007, 09:44 PM douche
dude your such a dick, why dont you post something constructive, i read a few of your posts, how old are you?
Spinning Sushi 09-19-2007, 09:51 PM I think he meant touche'
A.Mair 09-19-2007, 10:29 PM well if you go to read his other posts its not the first time he has did that typo
architect 09-20-2007, 10:30 AM ....
2k4_8 09-20-2007, 11:19 AM what, are you stalking me you homo? Do you want my address, you can sift through my garbage on Mondays?
and to the original poster...
an uptight moron? I'm not the one destroying my car. You really think these cars were made for that? And knowing that this isn't held in any high regards by a future buyer, I highly doubt you'll disclose this childish abuse.
giving my profession a bad name? How?
K, now you are officially a f***ing idiot. Anyone can just look at your posts to see why you responded in a negative way to a relatively innocent post, and that is probably what he did simply to find out if that is always how you post. It's the internet gtfo it. You're just pissed that he called you out.
Oh yeah, I just ruined a perfectly good RX8 by doing cookies ONE time before I got new tires.:rollingla I am sure that that is definately something I need to let the future buyer know as they might buy the car and have a wheel fall off. I know this car was not made to be abused that's why I don't do this all the time. Once in 6 months and probably never again now that I have new rubber....oooh ahhhh.
Architect, I am such a childish sob that I went back and picked up most of the rubber. How many immature people would have the consideration to do that. My father is an ASE certified Master Auto Tech and all through my life has taught me to respect vehicles. I take the best care of this car that I can, but if I can't ever do the occasional strip of rubber then why buy a car like this? Did you buy your Z06 to cruise high school parking lots or is it more of a toy. I could have just kept my Alero and had a docile driving experience. I bought this car, and if it can't handle 5 minutes of abuse out of it's entire life then wtf.
Speaking of abuse you have a DRY 125 shot on your 'Vette with no EMS or retune from what I see? What are you using to keep it from running lean? Make sure to tell the future buyer you had N2O on there, I am sure you will disclose it.

Im sure that NOS kit does wonders for your Z06....

homo? dude ive probably had more girls than youve had oil changes
rglbegl 09-20-2007, 11:48 AM 2k4 - nice job. It is fun to play a little every now and then.
Where did you find such CLEAN asphalt? No cracks, no dips, not even an oil stain. ( but now plenty of tire marks :) )
And to any pessimistic haters out there . . . . If you can not see the fun in doing a couple burnies . . . . you have forgotten what is important in life . . .. go kill yourself

It is just a work parking lot, well shared with the airport anyways. That portion of the lot was just put in a year or two ago due to insufficient parking...
architect 09-20-2007, 11:53 AM ....
architect 09-20-2007, 11:54 AM I won't be checking this post anymore... peace out.

Sweet . . . we got rid of him :djcelebra
A.Mair 09-20-2007, 12:05 PM 1) The kit is installed, not wired.
2) Yes, when it's done, the a/f will be checked by wideband. My shop is expecting it. If you knew anything about the LS6, you'd know these things handle spray very well without a tune... a step colder plug and you're set.
3) I won't sell it.
4) You're a douche because you post pictures AND a video for the world to see you leaving marks on pavement. Way to go. Attention deprived, are we?
5) Don Juan, lets not go there. You have absolutely no idea who I am and the talent I've had.
lol thats my favourite post of all time

Ok, you caught me, I never get any attention. CG Mr. Architect/Psycologist. Or maybe I just though others would enjoy a few pictures and a couple videos of a tire roast??? I posted pics and vids because videos upload at low resolution on the internet, go figure. And you seem to be the one who trolled the thread to get attention, so I would say that you are the attention deprived one.
Who never ever sells a car....hmmm....???
You trolled my thread and you know it. Fighting on the internet is retarded, I am done.
