Hey All, just thought I would drop in and say hi to all the RX8 owners now that I finally joined the ranks :wavey:

Finally got around to joining the .com cause the .com.au site wont let me join...
::dunno:
Anyways, Got my '07 Black RX8 (6Spd w/ Black Leather (yeah hot in summer :eek: ) and Sunroof) a few weeks ago and totally love it (bit of a step up from the S4T RX7, but work was buying, so good on them).
I'm living on north side of sunny Brisvegas and now I have settled in to the car with my first 10k on the clock, its time to start modding my beauty. :worship:

I like the look of the Buddy Club kit or the Veilside Mazda RX-8 Ver.1 Model kit, but still not 100% sure on how I would go about getting these up here in Brisbane (after trolling the forums till 4am), so if anyone has any experience with these kits or ordering & fitting in Brisbane, please let me know.

Got my car booked in next week for my exhaust, Hymee Enhanced, cause I love the sound and look and the feedback I have been reading from others is all good. So after the kit I will be looking at some performance upgrades.. Still not sure but I am more partial to a supercharger, although I do love the wind up of a nice turbo.

Anyways, just thought I would say hi, and I hope to catch up with anyone around Brisbane soon, maybe at the next track day, and thanks for any and all help you can give to this :newbie:

Andy.

Welcome Andy...the more time that passes in your new addition the more you will enjoy it! You'll find all of your answers in these forums but your access into RX8.club.com puzzles me...:dunno:

We have a host of people such as Choppy, Zoom, Taka, Hymee and Timbo who are more than qualified to help you out. Is it a technical problem?

Quick update: So in the next couple of days I will/should have the exhaust, short shifter and grille kit fitted.
I have found a Buddyclub Kit, they want $1800 for the full kit unpainted/unfitted, but I'm not sure how good a deal this is (he says he can probably go better), and so I may have to find a fitter/painter for the kit. (If anyone knows of any they trust, in or around Brisbane please let me know). As soon as this is done I will just have to find a buyer for my S4T RX7 and then I can look at the supercharger route. (Then I will just have to look out for my friends in blue who enjoy pulling me over to say hi all the time :Eyecrazy: )
Anyways, thanks for the pointers towards the kit suppliers and the endless amount of help and useful info on the site. Anyways, I will sit back with another cup of coffee and continue to delve into the site to learn more and more about my car :)
