I just bought an 04 RX-8 about 4 months ago. I've found that the Utility Power Outlet in the Center Console is not working. I've heard of it coming stock disconnected and it's not something everyone would use. Any ideas or suggestions?

First place to look is the fuse box by the drivers feet.

Check the contacts on the back of the plug, it's fairly easy to pull out, see if it is connected.

yeah - the previous owner may have disconnected it to run a remote line for a system in the trunk - just pull the plug out (just hook your fingernail on the peice of plastic that holds in it at the bottom and it will pull right out) and make sure both of the wires are still connected. and if they are then check the fuse box
