Before I start, let me assure you guys that I have used the search function and didn't find a conclusive answer.

I live in AZ, and am considering the Greddy kit. I would go with the Pettit SC or Mazsport turbo, but they are about twice as expensive.

Anyway, I am wondering if I will fail an emissions check in AZ, and if the Greddy kit (with the Emanage Ultimate) will generate CEL?

Thanks!

in Foheinex, for '96 and newer cars, the "emissions" check consist of the guy plugging the computer into your OBD-II port and checking for any CEL's. They don't actually hook anything up to your tailpipe.

As long as you have the EMU tuned right, you'll pass emissions, because you won't have a CEL

Being catless with Greddy tuned properly will it still not have the cel? I know I could probably search it but I see you are already talking about it.

I didn't get a CEL when catless with the greddy + emu.

No CEL here, either.

Im thinking one of these would be a good Christmas present for the car this winter.
