Is it possible to have the factory rims polished?

I was wondering if it would be possible for the wheels to be stripped and polished. Is it possible? If so, would it be cheaper?

I'm sure it's possible, and it will be the only way to get polished factory rims once the current supplies are exhausted - apparently Mazda is no longer stocking the polished rims, and will be replacing them with a chromed version. Blech!

One of the performance shops in my area checked into this and told me the best price they found was about $90 a wheel. You are probably better off selling yours and buying an aftermarket wheel and getting something a little more interesting and possibly a bit lighter.
