I recently took my car to mazda to get the sun visor, center console, remote and slow start ups fixed. All were fixed under warranty.
The engine was having a very hard time turning over every time i started my car and i thought it was the beggining of engine flooding.
The invoice said: Replaced starter with updated high speed starter. Checked operations of starting system good. Vehicle still slow starting. Performed ignition coil performance test - found both leading coils intermittently not firing. Replaced both leading ignition coils and rechecked vehicle starting - good.
Now my car starts on the dime.:)
So if anyone else has the same problem its fixed for free under warranty and its the starter/ignition coils that need to be replaced.
