has anyone lower their rx-8 with the Eibach pro kit??? if so how many inches of drop do u recommend???

i'd be curious about this too, i think their 1.2" lowering springs would be great.

eibach doesn't have springs for the 8 yet
maybe by the time sema comes thou

i just checked the eibach.com and it has the springs for rx8, its under 2003 model though.

would it void my warrenty for the suspension? beacus ei really want to drop the car since i live in Fl with no potholes.

if mazda can prove you lowering the car caused the problem then yes

H&R got lowering springs of 2,5 cm
H&R is beter dan eibach spings
all DTM cars (90%) put H&R includ Porche

I just talked with Rob at H&R and their springs for the 8 will not be out until next year. He said that the drop would be an inch all around.

oh, and i talked to a guy at eibach and he said that part 5544.140 are the correct springs for the rx8. they're just listed as the wrong year. i'm gonna order some and i'll keep you posted.

My approach to springs has always been more of a functional perspective. Don't really care too much about how much of a "drop" I'd get out of the new springs...

In some cases, excessive lowering can seriously degrade not only handling characteristics, but also reduce the life of other suspension components.

I like the idea of tuning the suspension, but I think I'll wait for some handling reviews...
