I was trying to remove the front bumper to clean mazdaspeed/aem intake filter. I am having trouble removing the corner light connector. Is it suppose just pull off ? I have been trying on both sides they don't come out.

for the amber corners?

there is one screw holding each of them on.

first you need to remove the tabs on the front half of the plastic inner wheel fender liner. next step is unscrew the screw going into the corner lights and remove those. Then get under the car and unscrew the 9+ screws holding the front lip on from wheel to wheel. Next step is tape up your headlights so you dont scratch them. pop your hood and remove the plastic thing and all its pop tabs that connect to the front bumper, then unscrew the front bumper, i think its 2 screws only, but it might be 4. next step is pull bumper off about 2=3 inches, reach around and unhook your foglights if you have them. then it comes off. install is the reverse.

biggest tip i can give is tape up your headlights, cause you will scratch them when putting the bumper back on.

Use a small screwdriver to pry up the catch on the side.

If all else fails then twist the bulb holder out of the corner

There is a small clip on each one of the connectors, all you have to do is squeeze one end of it and the locking end will unlock. As you squeeze it, pull the 2 sides apart and you got it. Do not force it or you may break a wire or the locking mechanism.

No need VASasha I was able take the bulb out like DarkBrew suggested. When cleaning the filter should also clean the sock like thing that covers the filter? Thanks for the help guys!
