How much does the RB REVi intake weigh? I'm hoping someone has weighed it and knows, or perhaps someone who just ordered will see this thread and weigh theirs, but anyway, does anybody know?
Thanks!
Thanks!

GTSimmo 05-26-2007, 03:35 PM I just installed mines last night, although I dont own a scale to weigh it with, I would have to estimate that it weighs no more then 5-8 lbs. It weighs less then the orginal air box with the under tray. Then there is the VFAD unit taken out of the car also. Motomouse 05-26-2007, 04:16 PM how much u pay for an intake ?? or where I can get one for a good price ?? thanks t-run/8 05-26-2007, 04:35 PM how much u pay for an intake ?? or where I can get one for a good price ?? thanks Right here: www.racingbeat.com scsi 05-26-2007, 06:43 PM www.good-win-racing.com is selling the REVi for $299 GTSimmo 05-26-2007, 07:22 PM I drove down to Racing Beat since its near me and got it from them directly. Just a FYI, they said they currently got a 3 month waiting list on their exhaust =O. However, I'm sure there are some vendors out there with it in stock. I got mines directly from them in December. Out of curiousity, why do you care how much and intake system weigh? scsi 05-28-2007, 04:21 AM just curious ? scsi 06-20-2007, 03:12 PM bump, someone weigh their REVi please? swoope 06-21-2007, 02:50 AM not going to rip it off my car to weigh it, but is is less than the stock air box if that helps... i would say they are within a lb or two.. beers:beer: NgoRX8 06-21-2007, 02:58 AM lol, give me like 3 months. i don't plan on taking it off right now. scsi 06-22-2007, 01:57 PM no need for anyone to take theirs out. im hoping someone has one coming to them and wouldnt mind weighing it before installing. Mazurfer 06-22-2007, 02:06 PM no need for anyone to take theirs out. im hoping someone has one coming to them and wouldnt mind weighing it before installing. As someone said................the tray underneath the stock box itself is heaver than the Revi.................plus you take out the VFAD, so that's even more. I'll take a look at the instructions and see if it declares weight. For a comparison, you'd have to have the weight of the stock airbox, tray, and entire VFAD assembly. scsi 06-22-2007, 02:12 PM it was stated and confirmed in the weight of stock parts thread in the tech section that the stock airbox, tray, and vfad without filter weighs 13lbs Mazurfer 06-22-2007, 02:21 PM it was stated and confirmed in the weight of stock parts thread in the tech section that the stock airbox, tray, and vfad without filter weighs 13lbs Thanks, I knew it was there in that thread, but was too lazy to go find it. So now that person has the stock weights, so off to the Revi question. Quess you actually have to include the new tube in this(although it's miniscule). scsi 07-06-2007, 08:36 PM if anyone is installing this any time in the future, please weigh it first and lemme know please? thanks! |
