The car gets very very hot inside. I realise this everytime I get back inside my car, the temperature is much warmer than outside temperature, even on cold weather. I think it is coming from the centre tunnel. I put my keys inside the centre tunnel compartment and it get very warm. I lay my left hand on top of the arm rest, damn it is warm. Nice in winter, but terrible in summer I think.

I know it's been discussed somewhere. I am also not searching for solution/s. But I am just sharing this with my Australian friends, since we are enjoying winter at the moment.:D

I really don't find this.
My car gets hot, after I park it...if I come back after an hour it will be hot.
But... while I'm driving it is cool.
Move to Queensland... winter is long gone and the sun accelerates the heating process ;)
I haven't noticed any real issues... I have climate control on most of the time and when the car is hot, it gives a big burst to rapidly cool down air to the set temperature.
Habit ensures I don't leave anything in the centre console trays for theft reasons, and because the Qld sun will melt it anyway.

I have noticed things left in the tunnel console bins get warmer than I would expect. But it has not caused me any concern.
Cheers,
Hymee.
