Anyone here tried to track down Oz performance parts for their RX8 ie intake, exhaust etc. I know Mazdaspeed parts won't be available in Oz until next year:(

Kas,

Looking forward to hearing the results and getting some detailed before and afters. Pitty that other thread reckons that you can't chassis dyno them properly (but I remain unconvinced)

Cheers,
Hymee

Hey Kas,

Mind sharing what you'll be getting done?

Well, we're aiming for 250 Rear wheel Kw.

I cant spoil the beans too much as yet until its un-veiled, but it should be complete by january sometime.

Kas, 250 rear wheel???

ok - so do you intend to still have a 13B style donk under the bonnet - or did you lay your hands on a triple?

Coz without an insane amount of forced induction, I couldn't see an effective power doubling of the stock donk.

Anyway - where in the rev range do you expect to be developing 250 rear wheel KW?

Kev, due to the already high compression of the the renesis we're able to do it using minimal amounts of boost.

There you go, the cats out of the bag. boost @!

I'll say the cat's out - I can't imagine there being any cat at all - that, or a couple of very big free flowing critters. :D
