SINGAPORE: A 29-year-old man who was knocked down by a taxi driver at Scotts Road last month, has died.
Alex Lim, who was in a coma after the accident, died at Tan Tock Seng Hospital on Sunday.
The accident happened at about 9.30pm near the junction of Scotts and Orchard roads on April 9.
Mr Lim's car had collided with a taxi and the two drivers soon got involved in a heated argument.
Mr Lim then reportedly stood in front of the taxi to stop the cabby from driving off from the scene but the taxi knocked him unconscious.
The cabby, in his 60s, was then arrested for a rash act causing grievous hurt and has been out on bail since.
Now that Mr Lim has died, it remains to be seen if the taxi driver will face a different charge.
