I've been thinking about getting all my accents, and badges powder coated. Has anyone done this, and will it be hard to take off and put back on the badges. Also if anyone has this done and could post pics, that would be much appreciated.

i was actually thinking about doing this as well. i wanted to go bronze to match my wheels and look nice with the NG.

I have a NG too, I want to do gun metal gray to match my rims as well.

I went by a couple of body shops and most of them said that powder coating the emblems would melt them if they used the same process that they use for most materials...being that the emblems are plastic....So one local shop said they'd paint them for me...But I've also heard that the paint wont stick if they dont use plastic primer.... Can't powdercoat anything that isn't metal and can't withstand 400* cure temps. I powdercoat part time, mainly stuff for myself and friends.

You can use a process called vacuum metalizing here's a few companies that do this, although I have no idea how much they would charge. The first one looks the most promising to me check out their product showcase. That faucet thing with all the colors looks pretty promising.
