I will be buying a set of tires soon, but money is so tight right now that I need to find the best deal possible. Of coarse I would love a set of performance tires but as it stands the more practical choice for me would be a set with a long treadlife.

Don't go cheap on the mounting and balancing service. Try to get a place with a Hunter road force balancer or a Coats XR1850.

Tire rack had a special on the so3 pole position. I'm not sure if thats still going though.
