ive been browsing the internet, google, forums and such looking for the best coilevers, springs, combination, whatever, for the best autocross deal...for those that done know, autocross is a track consisted of a "maze" of cones, where u manuever through trying to get the best time, so as you all can tell, theres a huge amount of cornering in this event, and for my new rx8 i want the best control, stability, etc. so what are your ideas?

Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer!

Your strange words frightens and confuses me! Sometimes the honking horns of your traffic make me want to get out of my BMW.. and run off into the hills, or wherever.. Sometimes when I get a message on my fax machine, I wonder: "Did little demons get inside and type it?" I don't know! My primitive mind can't grasp these concepts. But there is one thing I do know - You haven't searched or looked around on this forum.

Brought to you by.. Happy Fun Ball - still legal in 16 states - it's legal, it's fun, it's Happy Fun Ball!

You may want to check with the club you want to autocross with. If I'm not mistaken once you start changing stuff on your car it can lead you to be bumped to another class.

yes you do start changing class, but that isnt as big of a problem because im mainly focused on down force, control, stability, cornering, etc.

and for the idiot that posted the stupid i havent checked on the forums response, what the hell do you think i posted this for, ive already looked and want opinons other than a "good stiff ride"

I think what DD meant was: What organization will you autocross with? SCCA? NASA? The classing rules are different. Changing shocks may keep you in B Stock (SCCA) while coilovers will bump you to STU. First clarify what organization and class you're interested in.

While you're at it, read through the myriad of posts by autocrossers in the RX-8 Competition (Racing) (http://www.rx8club.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25) forum on this site.

My comment was more aimed at you throwing in a definition of autocross on a forum that has a subforum dedicated to racing (with autocross in the description) and that it seemed unlikely you had looked through that forum.
