Here in Georgia we reached a record high with the pollen count. The average for a county in a given state in the US is around 30-60 ppm. Here, it is currently 5808ppm!!!!!! This is the car 2 days after I washed it. remember 2 days before these pics, it looked new and shiny. I drove it today after cleaning it AGAIN and I started to see the windshield cloud yellow after a 5 minute drive.

i rinse my car off every morning just so i can breathe a little easier. i can't open the sunroof w/o fear of choking on the stuff. out riding my bike, i can taste it in the air!

I'm moving back to NC in a couple weeks. That's one thing I didn't miss.

It's been really bad here too lately. Supposedly it is mostly the Oak trees.

I was afraid of that. It's been over 10 years since I lived there, but I still remember the pollen.

Put it in a garage? We only get a few bad weeks and it's never that bad. Although in the winter on the wrong day you can get windows far worse than that in 5 minutes from road spray.

agh! i feel your pain. Though perhaps not as intensely. Pollen has been completely whoring itself all over Northern Cali, too. I pretty much have to wash my 8 daily unless i wanna roll around in Winning Greenish Metallic :Eyecrazy:

When you walk outside, it is like it snowed yellow.
You don't even need to be allergic to be affected - its so thick, it really affects your breathing. It gets everywhere!
As the man said, do not open your sunroof or window if you haven't rinsed! Might as well just throw a bag of flour in your car...

And I thought Louisiana was bad. I tried to dust my car, and keep up with the pollen, but I would have to dust every 30 mins to keep up. I can't wait till summer.

We are getting the pollen drop here in NM right now. I washed my car and it was immediately covered the next morning... . Wish I wouldn't have wasted the time and money to wash it now.

Nice looking RX7 by the way!

I thought I would escape the Atlanta pollen when I moved to Houston, but it is almost as bad here. I have no idea why, there is barely any shrubbery anywhere...

OMG, I would kill myself if my 8 was exposed to that all the time.
