So: Does pollen suck or does pollen suck?

Here in Georgia we reached a record high with the pollen count. The average for a county in a given state in the US is around 30-60 ppm. Here, it is currently 5808ppm!!!!!! This is the car 2 days after I washed it. remember 2 days before these pics, it looked new and shiny. I drove it today after cleaning it AGAIN and I started to see the windshield cloud yellow after a 5 minute drive.

Pollen Sux - I left my car at Jackson Hartfield last weekend amongst the pines, rinsed it 2x since, still looks like yours. We need some rain!!

expo1 03-30-2007 08:47 AM

It sucked when I had Black cars, not so bad now that I have a Lighting Yellow.

Illmatic 03-30-2007 09:08 AM

I would probably die from allergies in that. Eek! Sorry about your car. :( Looks nice though!

praxis1301 03-30-2007 09:45 AM

i rinse my car off every morning just so i can breathe a little easier. i can't open the sunroof w/o fear of choking on the stuff. out riding my bike, i can taste it in the air!

NoTears316 03-30-2007 10:08 AM

I'm moving back to NC in a couple weeks. That's one thing I didn't miss.

OnRails 03-30-2007 10:16 AM

It's been really bad here too lately. Supposedly it is mostly the Oak trees.

NoTears316 03-30-2007 10:23 AM

I was afraid of that. It's been over 10 years since I lived there, but I still remember the pollen.

fbdevil 03-30-2007 10:30 AM

Holy crap. There are some advantages to living in the Great White North !

d j 03-30-2007 10:38 AM

I just got back from Little Rock, AR and it's almost as bad over there =(

Umbra 03-30-2007 10:43 AM

Put it in a garage? We only get a few bad weeks and it's never that bad. Although in the winter on the wrong day you can get windows far worse than that in 5 minutes from road spray.

konradk 03-30-2007 10:44 AM

agh! i feel your pain. Though perhaps not as intensely. Pollen has been completely whoring itself all over Northern Cali, too. I pretty much have to wash my 8 daily unless i wanna roll around in Winning Greenish Metallic :Eyecrazy:

GeTcRuNk 03-30-2007 10:49 AM

pollen...and tree sap  'nuff said

Nemesis8 03-30-2007 10:52 AM

I just sneezed looking at that

velociti 03-30-2007 11:02 AM

least you're not allergic to it. my eyes are in terrible shape and im waiting for my doctor to come back into the office so i can get either oral steroids or a shot in my ass. terrible, terrible little guys.

When you walk outside, it is like it snowed yellow.
You don't even need to be allergic to be affected - its so thick, it really affects your breathing. It gets everywhere!
As the man said, do not open your sunroof or window if you haven't rinsed! Might as well just throw a bag of flour in your car...

ryan031581 03-30-2007 12:10 PM

And I thought Louisiana was bad. I tried to dust my car, and keep up with the pollen, but I would have to dust every 30 mins to keep up. I can't wait till summer.

Vancouver Blue-8 03-30-2007 12:30 PM

Although very dirty, your car still looks very beautiful & sexy, just so you know ...

TomAssBender 03-30-2007 01:35 PM

Man, I thought this was going to be a poll

I would have voted for "pollen sucks"

TimzSI 03-30-2007 04:07 PM

California Car Duster is standard equip for my car from Now til July or so. :)

'87 Turbo II 03-30-2007 08:56 PM

j67345 03-30-2007 09:26 PM
