I purchased a mid pipe from Racing Beat that would hit the front cross member over bumps. I assumed that the pipe was fabricated incorrectly and shared photos and masurements with Jim Tanner from RB. After some email exchanges I was told my power plant frame was probably to blame and should be adjusted and that spacing the cross memeber out with 3 washers is not recommended. Even though I had not removed the trans or any of the power train the ppf was out of spec and after adjusting eliminated any interference problems with the cross member!

Jim's a cool guy. Before I bought my Race exhaust from them, he was telling me about it along with the headers they're supposed to come out with. He sent me some free license plate frames (dunno if I was supposed to say that) after i'd asked if they offered anything that's not on the site that deals with the Racing Beat logo.
