A friend just bought a 2007 Civic Si. He replaced the wheels with 18" sport wheels and will sell me the stock 17" wheels w/all season tires for $300. The rims are 17x7 and the tires are all season P215 / 45 R17 87V. The bolt pattern is same as the RX8, 5 x 114.3mm.

Is this a good buy? Will it be a good winter wheel for the RX8?

If it fits, I don't see why not. It's only a couple months of the year. But then again... it doesn't snow where I am, so I have no idea.

See if the offset is correct. Also I doubt any of the Civic SI's came with true all seasons. They're probalby still a summer tire, just not as aggressive and they will still suck in the snow/ice. I would reccomend getting some real snow/winter tires if the weather is bad.
