Hi, like to know which PI has immediate stock for red RX8, thanks. Have asked a few but seems like that they're all having problems bringing RX8 in and was told that the stock will only be available in May/Jun.

Velocity red is nice IMO. Everyone has its own preference. I wanted red but got silver instead due to its OMV and last piece.

Gfoo initially wanted a pink 8 with Hello Kitty decals ;)

A pink 8 with Hello Kitty decals will definitely catch the eyes of everyone around it! :) Though I still like Stormy Blue colour.

Well, you might want to check out those PI at the Auto-megamart in Eunos. Saw a few 8s around there on display. Not sure if those are sold already or not. But... didn't notice any reds though.

The servicing workshop is Superworkshop in Paya Ubi.

So far i ve done 2 servicing, no complaint.....they even fixed my doorlite for free during my last serviced.

hi hi, thanx for your reply. In your opinion, are they proficient in servicing the RX-8? what as the engine oil they recommended to change for you? You bought from Hycarz too? I heard that Hycarz is subsidary from Hua Yang, a lot of my friends warn me off Hua Yang... now dont know what to make out of it man...*sigh*

Anyway back to serious queries, anybody heard about soon to happen restrictions of the import of the RX8 to only a couple of PI in .sg by Japan's side? One of the agent from a PI I was checking up with said something to that effect. A bit worried as this will mean serious supply problems for the 8 to .sg and may result in monopoly of the car. Prices will shoot sky high man.

well the news supposed to be priviledged news. I'll try to find out more when I go down to that PI this afternoon.

Prices will shoot sky high man.I think it's just sales gimmick to get you to buy the car. IMHO, don't need to get overly concerned. If you stop and think about it, how would "Japan side" restrict the import of RX-8 to a couple of PIs? PIs do not get from Mazda Japan direct. Japan very big, lots of dealers willing to export... easy business, car leave their shores, no warranty issues, no loose ends. I guess it's priviledged information coz that particular PI is one of the PIs that still have "excess" to the exported RX-8s.

I see what you mean and do agree to some extent. Dont think the restriction imposed due to company 1's misdeeds (XXX XXXX) can be so fleet wide implications.

Hello, I want the car to arrive in Dec, so working backwards, perhaps a decision needs to be taken soon in the next few months depending on what is the time lag..... correct?

I just wish the PIs can be more forth coming in their supply chain issues, if 6 months then say 6 months loh... nothing to shy about, helps buyers to plan anyway.
