Lock & Load

SCO , nice rx8 in lightning yellow , next door neighbour saw the same car on the goldcoast , having a lightining yellow myself you could say i am biased .
I was all excited till i realized the car is AUTOMATIC imo a total waste .
iBELIEVE THAT MAZDA HAS DONE A DISSERVICE TO THE RX8 IN HAVING A 141KW AUTOMATIC especially not externally differentiating between auto and manual cars , the good thing is i wont have to use all my gears to leave it behind if i come accross it.

I am a new member here....obviously by my posts....1

But I am going to take off on the wrong foot here!!!!!

Lock and Load.....that is my Dads car and I am very proud that he finally bought a rotor....as I have owned a few..... 2 x RX3s and an Rx2....and currently own an R100

I am able to drive the RX8 whenever I want and have been cruising down the coast many times!....I also have no problem admitting its my Dads and don't drive around as if I'm some rich little dickhead thinking my shit don't stink....but that is irrelevant to what you said...

anyway, I think its pretty harsh to comment how crap it is cos its AUTO, my Dad is 57 and my Mum is 53 and they couldn't give a stuff about manula, and they have had plent of Auto perfromance cars......2 WRXs and currently still own a Turbo 5 cyl Volvo C70 coupe! They are old, don't want to drive a manual and that is fair enuf......RX8's are slow anyway, and I love the fact that it is auto and love cruising in it....for the comfort, the ride and the looks!

A disservice is not having an Auto, they need to cater for all tastes, and its not a total waste dude!

Oh and you may not have to use all you gears to waste it!!.....but I will happily stay in 5th gear in my R100 and completly toast you by trainlengths....oh well!
However if you comments are just harmless fun, then I apologise for going off! :D

BTW....thanks SCO for posting the link to the pics, I thought I did a good job and thought they were awesome pics( regardless of transmission type!).....thanks again dude:D

No worries... you've got a good eye... walked past that spot a hundred times and never clicked that there could be some good shots taken there.
