Had my car serviced the other day by an independent and they changed the gearbox oil.

Now i find that when the engine/gearbox is cold its very notchy when you shift from 1st -> 2nd or 2nd->1st and you can feel it almost clunk as it goes in.

It didnt happen before the new oil why should it happen now?

 

Any idea what oil they used?

 

what kind of oil was put in?

 

it's hilarious he missed out on the most important part of the problem... the actual kind of oil he used...
