Would a good set of coil overs be better for a 90% street car vs koni's springs or??? What kind of spring and sways also.

The Racing Beat setup is decent from the reviews I have read. The downside of coil overs is they can be a harsh ride on city streets.

There are a lot of reviews on suspension mods on this forum.

Few haven't liked the RB setup when implemented.

Quite a few go the route of sways first then springs and adjustable shocks like Koni or Tokico.

If you are going 90% street. I would say a softer spring like Eibach or Tanabe. Konis seem like the most popular strut. Coilovers are a much stiffer ride. Here is a link of the different spring rates.

Depends on what sort of ride you like. To me the stock suspension is way way to soft and there is way to much body roll. Coilovers have been fine for street use, most of the time it doesn't feel any worse than the stock suspension on my spec-v. It's only with really bad roads that it's not fun.

I went with HKS hypermax. If you're concerned about those being to stiff go with the RS.

I second that. I just installed JIC Coilovers and man does the car feel great!! Also, the harshness of the ride does not seem to be that different from stock (set to lowest damping). The body roll on the other hand is all but gone. It is truly amazing.

Highly recommend coilovers.

I've had both RB and racing coilvers.

I had the TEIN Basic Coilovers for about a month. Just like any coilover set, when you hit a bump, it'll be a bit hard with the ride. This is my first time having coilovers. My other cars that I've had, always had drop springs. I've also cut my springs before on my 2nd car. But as for the ride on the highways with what I got now, it's great...No regrets. Plus it's height adjustable. Can't go wrong. Theres also the TEIN Flex. With the EDFC. Controls the damping. But the Flex is worth over a grand plus the EDFC is about $350. I vouch for TEIN.
