I just joined and want to say hello to everyone out there in the RX-8 club. I have been lurking on this site for over a year and have greatly benefited from all of the information you guys have collected here. This site is a great resource for us RX-8 owners (my car is a 2005 Winning Blue GT 6MT), and I finally decided that I should do my part to add to the collective knowledge by joining the forum.

Since I have been a frequent visitor, I've seen some of the flaming of newbies. So, I'll promise to be good and not start threads on flooding, gas mileage, etc... or even the Chrysler Crossf.....

Welcome. I, too, lurked for a year or so, gathering info, before taking the plunge and buying an 8. That was 9 months and 6,800 miles ago and I'm still in love with the car. Best of luck to you.

Welcome, I'm new here too and have not asked any stupid questions yet. Most have already been brought up. I just got an a Shinka and am loving all 525 miles so far. The Mazdaspeed 2 muffler exhaust makes a nice addition. My $.02 worth.
