adhesive on the back, so i assume they stick on over.

they are stick over. These fitment is so tie, we had to use 0.4mm 3M double side tape.

it will be flat with your black part of the mirror. I had the same mirror cover with same 3M tape on a 350Z drove on route 5 to SF at 140 MPH no problem at all.
