View Full Version : need improvements, Mazmart will help?
Yusik 11-09-2006, 08:13 AM Hi from Moscow!
I've been readdressed from other forums to yours and to Paul personally, may be you can help.
first: may I install climate-control option? Its standart package in europe (my RX8 from US market)
second: can you provide me with radio tuner of european frequency spec, or the way to change firmware in it?
Mazmart 11-09-2006, 08:48 AM Greetings my friend across the sea. You come bearing interesting questions. Are you wanting auto climate control that uses all push button functions?
Paul.
Mazmart 11-09-2006, 08:55 AM Okay, I've re-read your post and understand exactly what you're saying. I'll look into it and give my best opinion shortly.
Paul.
LostAngel 11-09-2006, 09:13 AM Glad you found where I pointed you Yusik!
Yusik 11-09-2006, 09:30 AM Right turn knob at right down corner of dash, when pushing works as auto climat mode, by turning it you change desire temp.
Left turning knob works as it is, but one can see speed of fan on display.

Conundrum 11-09-2006, 09:31 PM It would be interesting to see the conversion from standard climate control to auto climate control... please keep us informed of your progress
Mazmart 11-09-2006, 09:55 PM Yusik,
See if you can get me the Mzda part # being used in Europe for the climate control please.
Paul.
Yusik 11-10-2006, 03:48 AM This is it:
F151-61-190 Control, heater , picture attached. It cost here about 300$. I called to mazda service, they doesn't know do I need something else, never did that job. All the RX8 here with climate-control but without cruise-control for example. Mystery!
Yusik,

jskup1 11-10-2006, 07:47 AM At the very least, there would have to be a temperature sensor somewhere for the climate control to adjust to probably mounted on top of the dash somewhere by the windshield.
Yusik 11-10-2006, 10:14 AM Yes, I found it, see picture, besides, there are two of them: 61751A sensor sun(its closed by cover on ours RXs)
other is 61757 sensor incar.
Will it work if we all of it to install? wiring must be same but better to check. Awaiting for MazMart decision.

Mazmart 11-10-2006, 05:39 PM You've provided what is known as the D-codes which is a start. The part #s often
iclude these. If you can't get the full #s I may have to get real creative in my search. I'll also have to compare wiring diagrams. This could take a while. I hope you aren't really relying on me.
Paul.
Yusik 11-11-2006, 04:31 AM Paul, no problem if it won't work.
But you can pleased by so useful option so many customers! Suppose many of them will apply to you for this option! Just let them know!

Mazmart 11-13-2006, 04:45 PM Any luck on the complete part #s?
Paul.
Yusik 11-14-2006, 04:58 AM Paul,
No, people from mazda here cannot give me full parts #, its an internal info as they said, sorry, I can't! But there is one new interesting thing I knew from them- radio head unit ## depends of existance of full climat control, thus, the main unit is one of important parts to handle this matter.
Now its all more complicated for me: I want to order head unit here to have an European frequency change steps and RDS, but what kind of radio to order, with or without full climate control, wiring/connections may be different, and it won't work
Mazmart 11-16-2006, 08:57 AM I have a local Russian friend who imports and exports cars. I'll see if he can be of any help.
Paul.
