I loved the shit out of this car. I dreamed of it since I was 14, and I finally acquired it many years later thanks to a user by the name of "nameless" on the forum. He "hand-picked" me after looking amongst potential buyers for this car he cared so much about- he now works at NISMO. This car is my bildungsroman, and I must part ways with it. Hopefully I can be as selective with this machine, bestowing it upon a worthy successor to take good care of this alluring vehicle. I never really got to enjoy it as I went off to the east-coast for school soon into ownership, so it essentially sat in the garage and got warmed up occasionally, only to be driven during breaks when I was back in california. In addition, I switched to a single turbo setup, and following two tunes and a dyno session at Neptune Speed, (where it made 350 WHP at 12 PSI), I had it detuned to 5 psi since the car needed a clutch and it was to serve as a daily driver. I ended up going back to Boston for my masters, which I will be done with in May, so it remains here, only warmed up to take out occasionally. It stayed for a good while in the care of Ken from Neptunespeed, who did most of the work on this car, and many can attest to his abilities on the forum.
asking 16,500 OBO It pains me to write this so I will simply list out what I can list off the top of my head. I have spent well over my asking price on this car, going through various turbo setups and aesthetic elements. Please feel free to compression test the engine. I'm sure there's a lot I haven't put so please call and ask about the car if you're interested. Please e-mail me at eykim@fas.harvard.edu or simply call me at 617 849 2664 with any questions. I'm sorry I have not been active on this forum in many, many years and I resurface to get rid of this beloved machine. I'm looking to sell soon, and I hope that my price reflects that. I'll be heading back east in about a week or so, and would love to hand off this enigmatic and beautiful machine to a deserving new owner. I'm considering 16.5k OBO or cash + your cleanly modded RX-8 for consideration... please let me know! |

sorry about the lack of detail-oriented pictures. took some more pictures and posting some that i missed. and yes, everything is painted minus the engine bay, which i was hoping to do in the future. door jams and hatch are all painted beyond any visible areas. the paint job is meticulous and in incredible condition, as i hope can be inferred from the pictures.

I just saw your post, are you still interested in selling or trading the car?
|
would you trade for a 2006 shinka edition Rx-8 ?
70k on engine has 100k mile warranty on it. |
The owner already sold the rx7, I spoke with him last week. He's already out of the state and the cars been sold.
