The Reverend 05-03-2010 10:27 AM

Mike if it is bent is seems the endlinks would be angled more toward the middle are they any different on yours

J03K1LLARX8 05-03-2010 10:28 AM

Like a V? Wow that's crazy. Let me double check.

Vlaze 05-03-2010 10:29 AM

My progress sways have a V bend in the rear, then again IIRC so does the stock one.

Gr8Bullet 05-03-2010 10:38 AM

Wait what!?!? I got a gt tho it should come with them...

Vlaze 05-03-2010 10:38 AM

Rev: Wheels/tires still not mounted. I just finished my car at noon last Friday working to 2 am previous nights so I could drive it down to VA for the weekend at Richmond for the NASCAR race with my bro. Realistically, I could get a shop to mount them and put them on myself but at my height it's gonna rub likely. I heard a good bump sound every time I went over a nasty dip on the road but knew it wasn't bottoming out; I'm guessing the tires are hitting the inner fender already and that's with stock. With the new rims I definitely need a roll, and to adjust to stiffer settings on the shocks.

The Reverend 05-03-2010 10:41 AM

:crying::crying::crying:

Vlaze 05-03-2010 10:43 AM

Correction; I didn't just hear a good bump sound, I felt the thing, hard, so I know it's hitting. Gonna take some time to get the new rims to work with a lower offset.

mike[piston eater] 05-03-2010 10:45 AM

ryan check if your sway has a yellow dot if it doesnt then yours is gay lol

Gr8Bullet 05-03-2010 10:48 AM

Where is this yellow dot suppose to be at?

J03K1LLARX8 05-03-2010 10:48 AM

Yellow dot is better then sport right?

mike[piston eater] 05-03-2010 10:48 AM

on the sway

mike[piston eater] 05-03-2010 10:49 AM

yellow dot is sport joey

J03K1LLARX8 05-03-2010 10:53 AM

I has yellow dot and I do recall a v bend when I was changing my.exhaust with shady. So I think your sway is fine mike.

mike[piston eater] 05-03-2010 10:54 AM

ok yeah i got all paranoid, but then again it was such a perfect bend lol

shadycrew31 05-03-2010 10:55 AM

Purple dot is non sport

yellow dot is sport

orange dot is shinka.

90% of rear sway bars on our cars will have a bend in the middle. The bend in the middle helps with weight transfer for the rear.
