not a fan of the vossen wheels, they appear too 'flat'
Volk GTS are sexy with a polished lip. Although I only like them on dark colored cars

pay no attention to the POS 420ZTT , just focus on the wheels themselves
minus the red, add polished lip

Imagine the same look as those have a black lip on a black car. I was thinking a white lip on a white car with the same spokes or even black spokes. Nice car but 420? Yeah the Vossen are quite different.

I vote Vossen. They look great on the Z.
And with the proper offset you could go larger on the tires, that is, if you want to.

By the way how was SS? I didn't get to talk to Cesar much about it yet.
i DO drive my rx-8 every week to work a few times so the battery doesn't die... i had to spend close to $8k repairing the subframe defect on my '99 e46 last summer. both bmw na and new century LIED to me and screwed me over big time. i should've gotten an attorney to negotiate on my behalf. i thought that since i approached them in good faith that they would treat me the same- or at least appreciate me being a loyal, long-time customer. couldn't have been the more opposite. they had my car for almost 4 months and then held me hostage after completely disassembling the rear axel/ suspension. i hate bmw now. lol...

i came -this- close to junking the bimmer and getting an 3.6L ATS. but, ****- why don't they make it with a stick??? the 2.0T was a serious POS and sounded like a meat grinder. well, now that bmw made me buy my car twice- once new, once old, im' just driving it til it dies i guess.. LOL (stupid body shops that wouldn't do subframe work, but offered me $1.5k to buy my upholstery. fucktards...)

SS15 was probably the best SS we've ever done. Location / setup was amazing, weather was perfect, attendance was awesome and we had 4 epic 4 rotors who for the first time in Mazdas history were all at the same place at the same time. (and ripping up the track)
Jay and I are R1 twinsies now...

btw, Jun re-surfaced too. apparently, he's still living the good life with his lotus, amg, and other cars.

Just curious what you guys think, stick the Volks on the CX-5? They have the same bolt pattern and dia. but the width would be bigger. I am no so sure about the offset?

put a little life in this thread..
my engine is out the car, I've stripped everything off.
trying to get everything cleaned before i put it on the new motor.
i opened up the intake to clean the apv and notice a small piece of metal had
broken off a tab for the front cylinder, im guessing that small piece probably killed
my engine. the front rotor is gone and its the front port where the tab broke.
also noticed the screw was loose on the second port, if that had worked loose completely
after putting the new engine in, then it would have killed the new engine as well.
