Question Sacramento-area owners: Who does your work?

Not that I expect anything beyond routine maintenance for a long time, but a certain Mazda dealer's service department did not inspire a lot of confidence. Any recommendations on service or tuning -- can you endorse any local dealers, or are there independent shops in this area that are really good with rotaries? Any strong opinions, please reply here or send me a message. Many thanks.

I have gone to both Mazda Great Valley & Senator for routine maintenance and I have had issues with both.

Question Car work in Sac

What were your issues? Have you had better luck anyplace else?
I had the ECU update done at Great Valley and, at least initially, the car seemed to run rough and with less power. I am taking it back to have them look at it. But after driving it for a week, it seems to be running better -- maybe something needed to reset.

Just basically poor customer service. Senator mazda put the wrong oil in the car ( after waiting 2 hrs...)and promised me free car wash when I brough the car back for another oil change, like I was bringing it back there. Great Valley gave me a hard time about getting my M flash and A/C fixed.
