I clear my CEL at work whenever I can. It usually comes up like in 2-3 days.

is it really bad to have to ur cel on all the time? Cuz i need breaks badly. which one sshould i go for first? I cant wait to visit neptune speed!

It really depends on what is causing the CEL.
If it's a small evap leak and it's only a bad gas cap then well...that can probably wait.
Brakes are a high priority item since it's a safety issue.

Jedi I have a non resonated cat delete...so it comes up after a couple days or so. Its just annoying seeing that light on so I just delete it.

you need an AccessPORT so you can just turn off that CEL for good.

is it better to buy the break pads at autozone and then bring it to yoshi? or have em order it? cuz at dealership . they were charging me at 400 for a complete set includin labor..

Yeah the dealership will try and screw you for a brake job. Autozone pads will do if you are really in a pinch but lots of guys are running better brake pads like Hawk Ceramic, Hawk HP+ or others someone can help me out here. At least get OEM pads

what is a full brake job include? is it pads and rotor replacement? or
brake rotor resurface? front and rears?

I wouldn't really recommend Autozone pads unless you're on a tight budget. I'm running Hawk Ceramic pads and they're great.

if you have never had the brakes done then your rotors really need to be surfaced
some auto parts stores will turn your rotors for a small fee. your brakes will vibrate
with uneven rotors.

if your going to do it yourself make sure you borrow or buy the tool
for the rear calipers.

i want to have it done on friday. and i just dont wanan order the hawke pads online. is there any store in so-cal that i can get those brakes? thanks!
