My first Rims!

Hi all, im kind of new here and i only come on if im having any technical difficulties with my 8. Since my 8 is running really good now and i have no problem. I wanna spice it up a lil bit, so im getting my first rims! What kind of rims should i get? is it ok to get those xxr or its better to just buy good brands like e-works, volks etc... and what size should i get? 17"s? or 18"s.? and what should be my offset. Please help, sorry i have a lot of questions. I have a silver 2004 rx8. thanks! and more power to you guys! :wavey:

Search around for some wheel fits. Try to stick to an 18" size and at least wider than stock.
From then on its all up to what look you like and how much you are willing to spend.

Is it better to get the rims and tires first before I get the springs?

Depends on how aggressive of wheels you want. Not aggressive = doesn't matter agressiveish = springs first aggressive = coilovers first and not springs

That is a pretty good thread with wheel fitments and you may see something you like in it to base what you want to do. I'm debating what wheels and sizes to go with at the moment as well. Good luck!
