so i heard there's going to be rain coming in for this weekend. if it's going to be raining, hence snowing up in the mountains, i'm not going to go. otherwise, i'll go for sure still.

yes, if it rains on sunday, we WILL NOT be going, per the reason stated above

we would push it back a week or something like that...

Here are pictures from Baldy. On th way up there are some crazy slow switch back hair pin turns, and then once you get up there it will be freezing and then you still have to take the lift (in the open) to get to the lodge and slopes. attached are some pictures from way back when, when we did a small photoshoot. guess the car? (before they were modded)

picture 1, guess who?
picture 2, at the parking lot (not that much snow this day)
picture 3, at the parking lot
picture 4, the turns on the way down
picture 5, more snow this time looking up the mountain with the lifts behind us

accordingy to the weather sunday will most likely be a bad day and should be put off for next time.

KrazieKave 02-12-2009 12:10 AM

yes, perhaps a push to Saturday Feb 21, 2009 would be a better choice, as it looks like the weather will not be cooperating for us.

it will snow in the mountains this weekend, so there will be plently left for us next weekend (assuming it doesnt rain/snow on the 21st)

this is my motion. if it is seconded by anyone on here, we'll make the date change (tentative) official.

xrider01 02-12-2009 12:49 PM

i 2nd that notion

photo chick 02-12-2009 01:08 PM

i can't make that day

lesper4 02-13-2009 12:02 AM

do i hear a 22nd?

KrazieKave 02-13-2009 12:22 AM

Sunday the 22nd of Feb. works for me, but i dunno how others feel about work/school the next day.

xrider01 02-13-2009 01:43 AM

i say it should be done on saturday. but, getting a mass vote on what is better for other people would be best.

photo chick 02-13-2009 01:59 PM

ya, Saturdays work best for meets.

Jedi54 02-13-2009 02:06 PM

2 feet of snow expected to drop this weekend.

KrazieKave 02-13-2009 04:05 PM

as long as i dont have any other comitments, any day is fine for me...

xrider01 02-13-2009 04:45 PM

monday night at midnight then would be awesome!

i don't have my 8 anymore, so i don't forsee myself having anymore "accidents"

Rotary Rasp 02-13-2009 05:08 PM

I remember you telling me about that, but for some reason I thought you got it replaced.
