Mid pipe owners in South Cali!!
I'd like to buy the BHR mid pipe or the Racing Beat DR mid pipe but before I do, I want to know if any one has gotten fines for no cat. Also if anyone have had their cars impounded due to no cat. Thanks for the input!

yes people have been fined for not have a cat. i dont think anyone has had it impounded tho, they usually give you a fix it ticket the first time around. I've had my midpipe on for almost 2 years now and not a single ticket because of it.

mid pipe ?
I have RB mid pipe that i just ran for 1 track event, cannot evaluate Performance increase , but it does sound nice and does throw flames at high RPM shifts . does not increase noise level unless you apply agressive acceleration. I will not be changing back and forth for every event, so its for sale. local pickup $100.
it did throw a CEL after 10 miles and i cleared the code. it did not return. hopefully helpfull trackrat |

I'd still be a little bit concerned with the smell as there are many motorcycle cops in my city. lol |

steezy: why not get the BHR midpipe with the high flow cat welded in? They offer it as an option and that particular cat is quite good for our cars.
If you get an unresonated cat, you'll probably get caught |

i have the daves sport cat, and the cops get behind me all the time.
I've had no problems with them, but driving normal when they're around is the key |
