Decent Rx-8 Specialist in Los Angeles------any good mechanics?

Thoughts on this? Not really impressed with the Yelp reviews of the so called Mazda specialists in LA. Any one know of any good mechanics who specialize in RX-8s? Or would I be better off taking it to the dealer?

Also, u have Rotary Power located in Gardena, or Neptune Speed located in Huntington Beach i believe.

Rotary Power
18111 South Harvard Blvd.
Gardena, CA 90248

&
Neptune Speed
17222 Gothard St. Suite D
Huntington Beach CA. 92647

i can say Rotary Power does some great work with any RX. He put in my LS2 ignition coils.
and i plan to check out Neptune Speed one of these days. Iv been recommend to them a lot.

I dont really care what they so called "trashed-talked" about.
im just letting the dude know its a shop that he could go check out.
Nothing else. And besides, even through they so called "trash-talked"
doesn't mean they don't do good work.

May be cheaper in the long run...that is, if you get someone that jacks it up to the point of no return....I take mine to the dealer and the prices are reasonable...I'm sure as heck not taking her to just any place..know the person and their job credibility before you let anyone touch the engine or anything that isn't standard.

Rotary specialist in LA? Old thread but had the same answers. I clearly remember that there was a SoCal thread that compiled rotary shops around LA, OC, SB, and SD Counties. I will keep looking; but I got my reman from Lucky 7 Racing SoCal Mazda Shop in Duarte, about the same distance to Neptune Speed east bound on 210 fway. They're, in fact, a family owned shop dedicated to rotaries who frequently race at Buttonwillow and was there to race this past Mazfest/Seven Stock 15. Check their fb page and post your question, Tony's quick to respond. Anyway, I saw your initial post about having your RX-8 stored in a garage for 14 months and you were having problems restarting it, where are you in Los Angeles?
