09-12-04 Morning "walk" - old 09-19-04 "walking" again

I am going to do my morning walk on Sunday @ 7:00 again. If anyone wants to go along and drive or ride shotgun, let me know. It's going to be the same route that I did with Riccio last weekend. I am going to take the Italian out this time.

Samsonite keeps a red Ferrari in his garage.....I guess, every so often, he forces himself to park his 8 and take the "Italian" for a ride.

Wish I didn't have other plans, I'd come up for another turn around your route - very entertaining drive.......

So why not just say, "I'd like to go for a drive this Sunday. I'll be taking the Ferrari. If anyone wants to ride shotgun or drive along, please post. Thanks."

because maybe he's trying to a little humble and dont want some people to think he's coming off as arrogant guy.

Riccio,

You are more then welcome any time. I usually take the drive every Sunday morning so if you are ever bored and need something to do, let me know.

You are right about forcing myself to park the 8. I cannot think of a better car to drive fast in on tight roads then the 8. The 8 drives circles around the F-car.

All,

I did not mention the f-car because it's boastful and sometimes it can be a negitave if others find out. I love all cars and people. Most of the time when people come over I do not even mention it.

I thought about trading my 8 a few months back for an 89 Testarossa but found i needed somthing i could count on for every day driving so i kept the 8 and my father ended up buying the rossa, it was too good a deal to pass up with under 20K miles in mint condition for $35k. The guy who sold it was a friend of the family and he needed to make room for his new "itialian toy" but this time there is a bull on the hood.

is that a typo? an 89 with 20k would sell for 55-70k if all the service is up to date.

if it is 35K, it was a hell of a deal.

Joe is an auto wholesaler so the prices he pays for cars from the auctions are fairly cheap so thats why he sold it to my dad at such a good price. His diablo he just got was like $50k i think from some auction in the LA area so I am sure he didnt lose any money.

twisty7867,

I usually start about 7:00 or so but if that's to early, then 8:30 is the next best time.

I live in Valencia so if you want to join me tomorrow, PM me and I will send you directions to my house.

we can drive the 8's or you can ride shotgun. It's up to you.
