R1 Concepts Premium Rotors and Pads - limited time member discount/ groupbuy!

Hello Community,

R1 Concepts Inc. is proud to offer Premium Rx8 rotors!
I am offering the Premium series rotors which are made with stronger iron cast metal (G3500) for overall tension strength. The Premium series rotors which is the top of the line series out of the two that I carry (E-lines & Premiums). The rotors are cast with a 50/50 center split for better heat distribution. Premium utilize a black Electro-coating finish applied on the hubs and inner vane structures providing long lasting corrosion protection. Original stock size, will bolt right up with no modifications needed.

Here at R1, we take many precautions in drilling rotors. We drill with smaller diameter holes and counter sink each hole. You can also go with just slotted only or whatever design you wish. When ordered with slots, every R1 rotor will come with our exclusive Diamond Slot design (45 degree angle end points), to help release trapped debris. Also a good indicator for rotor wear life.

has anyone tried these? im thinking about getting all four. i have new hawk hps pads but dont want to put them on w/o new rotors. any feedback would be helpful. seems like a good price conpared to racing brake. im just worried about the old you get what you pay for. btw i dont track my car but it is a toy and is not driven year round.
thanks

I had their rotor, pads, SS line on my previous ride.
I used them for quite a long time and never had any issues.
On the previous forum I was on, "Solaraguy.com", R1 Concepts brakes were getting very good reviews.

One I had was the very basic one with slotted/drilled, when they were fairly new in business. i've heard that their newer product has even better rust protection, and I will get from them once I need new set for RX-8.

I can tell you R1 is great.

I had an 04 8, bought the premiums with the posiquiet pads. Loved it. No issues. Stopped MUCH better than stock. Didn’t last as long as would have liked, but the performance was awesome.

Then bought the drilled and slotted plated with the ceramic pads. Loved it. No issues. Not as much bite on the stop and need to heat up a bit, but great feel and experience.

Bought my 07 8. Immediately bought the drilled and slotted, plated, with ceramic pads... Again. great product. my only issue is that a have a squeak when cold and a little rust that comes from in between the rotors. Other than that, the product is great.

I recommend and their prices are great. I have tried others and been delivered inferior products. Believe me when i tell you there are a lot of shady and quite frankly shitty products out there.

I recommend them with a 5 star in all areas.
