VB Garage Search function
 

Not a big deal but it would be nice......I was trying to look up some info on another members car and I knew he had a VB Garage setup, it took me about 3-4 mins to find his screen name even with the garage being alphabetized....
Just a suggestion, there have only been a few instances when I have wanted to to search for someone in there but again if possible or easily doable it would a nice addition...

Lots of requests to add a search function for the garage section of the site :)

I was just talking to a moderator about this. I would like a better way to search or browse the garage. Search by User, year, or trim would be a great start.

Just put a link to your garage in your sig. If everyone did that no one would need to search.

FWIW lots of requests for improvements to the garage feature. It doesn't appear that the site operators like it though and may prefer it died a silent death.

That is what many have done but that does not address the problem. A work around is not a fix. It is a hack.

There are also people like me that turn off viewing sigs...
Makes it much easier and quicker to read long threads.

I think this hasn't been updated (despite many requests) because it probably isn't utilized a whole lot.

Ah. Looks like a translation from English to Software Requirement Language is required:

The VB Garage is working as designed. Additional enhancement requests including a better search engine, multiple column sorting, additional columns in search results, and a default link to the VB garage in the user name dropdown link menu will be processed in the next release of VB Garage software. That release is currently on the calendar between The Frozen Hell Release™ and the MM Icon Generator Release™. These releases may be accellerated or removed entirely from the schedule based on the changing availability of resources.
