Question Time to live for moved threads

Can a time to live be put on threads which were started in the wrong section and moved to another which would result in the pointer being deleted after a month (or two)?

For example: While reading the SII tech section, I don't notice that I select a topic that has been moved. After wondering why I hit the cookie crumbs on the top not realizing I've switched to the SI tech section.

Deleting a moved thread after a month (or two) would probably clean up the topic areas and after a month (or two) no one would even notice they were gone.

Just a suggestion...
