Show Sig check box on quick reply
Can this be set to always on? I don't regurgetate what kind of 8 I have in every posts. I assume my sig will explain that if anyone has any questions. But, that checkbox has made me look bad more than once. =)

When this forum started signatures "on" were enabled, but we discovered we were using too much disk space and threads were too long due to huge signatures, so we turned it off. But with the new servers that are coming we may revist that decision. We'll see, suggestion duly noted.
In the mean time it doesn't take much to form the habit of checking the "Show your signature" box... that's what I do. :) |
I don't mind sigs as long as someone isn't keeping a 800x600 animated .gif of their cat playing with a rotary themed catnip patch :p

Was this option reconsidered recently? If not could you please review this and allow us the option to set the "Show your Signature" to default on? Thank you.
