Search
How do you make word combined search?? Say I want to search for "speed sensor", the search system will only do "speed" and "sensor" seperately. Why? Or am I missing something?
I don't think you can
Damn!
What did you wanna know?
I am trying to find what type of speed sensor RX-8 runs, a 3-wire hall-effect type speed sensor, or a 2-wire inductor type speed sensor
PMed you

SE3P_HKG,
You most definitely should put Tak into your Buddylist, he's a comrade... hehe |
For Sure!
The search is getting way too bogged down anyways. It needs to bring up in order or relevance and not in order of date.
strange- i used it yesterday to find threads about a subject from 2003. didnt take me more than 2 minutes to find pertinent ones
But it will be much easier to search for user if the search engine allows combined words.
I hope the search engine works like google with all the logic operator and NEAR, etc.
Ok that was very helpful
Thanks! mysql101... it is very helpful indeed.

but you've read them before, and remember good key words to use. I have no problem finding something I read long ago. It's finding stuff that I haven't read before that's tough. If I was new here, I'd give up on the search after about 2 tries. |
