Runtime Error

I dunno bout you folks, but every thread I go to visit gives me a runtime error.. From what I can tell it looks to be coming from the javascript in the page.. hmmm.. maybe around the quick reply function...

RX-Nut 10-22-2003 07:30 PM

like this..

brothervoodoo 10-22-2003 07:33 PM

Are you running an old browser version?

RX-Nut 10-22-2003 07:38 PM

Nope. IE 6 patched to thee hearts content.. weird. Just started today.

brothervoodoo 10-22-2003 07:40 PM

Did you clear out your cache and/or cookies...

zoom44 10-22-2003 07:41 PM

mines been doing it for a week now. and it has been since the quick reply box started. boostd is aware but i think it is part of the ongoing conflict between IE6 and the new server. but i really don't know much about this stuuf so don't take my word for it.

edit: some one is fixing it right now because i didn't get the error for the first time today on this post.

RX-Nut 10-22-2003 07:43 PM

Yep.. cleared and wiped.. and yes I think it's the Quick Reply. If I log out of the site, no errors.. but that also means no Quick Reply box.

zoom44 10-22-2003 07:46 PM

nut i just stopped getting errors are you still getting them?

RX-Nut 10-22-2003 07:47 PM

It's off and on.. very freaky.

zoom44 10-22-2003 08:17 PM

damn mine are back too :(

mikeb 10-22-2003 08:27 PM

I have never seen one

RX-Nut 10-22-2003 08:29 PM

Yea I know.. I dont get them on the RX7club forum.

Wing 10-22-2003 08:35 PM

no problem here, except at the bottom it says "Done, but with errors on page."

RX-Nut 10-22-2003 08:39 PM

yup.. thats another way IE shows the error..

spypondtom 10-22-2003 08:45 PM

i am getting the same stuff...started about a week ago

downshift 10-22-2003 09:02 PM

No problems here. I'm running Mozilla. Seriously, you guys should stop using IE with all the pop-ups and plethora of exploits out there for them.

It's definitely the Quick Reply Box. Specifically, I believe it's the QRB's "check message length" code, because that function does not work at all.

BOOSTD 7 10-25-2003 01:22 PM

It's fixed now ... it was just a typo
